Sleepover with the Sharks
Tuesday, July 9, 2013; 6:00pm to 7:00pm
This unforgettable overnight sleepover is the ultimate shark-lover’s experience! Discover the truths surrounding these top ocean predators during this activity-filled overnight adventure. Take part in hands-on activities in our Shark Discovery Lab and crafts station. With an expert guide, take a nocturnal prowl through the Aquarium’s animal care areas, including a visit to the food-prep area to learn how we care for and feed our sharks and rays. Enjoy a movie presentation of Shark Tale and then dare to sleep near where sharks swim silently just inches from you.

Sleepovers are from 6:00pm to 7:00am and include Aquarium admission, dinner, continental breakfast, a movie, craft, animal interaction, and waking up next to one of our exhibits!

Members and friends of the Northport Historical Society are invited to pack their favorite picnic blanket and food and join us at Scudder Beach, 10 Beach Avenue, Northport, from 3 to 6 p.m. for some good old-fashioned summer fun. We’ll provide family-friendly cold beverages and desserts, and there will be lots of fun and games for kids and adults alike. Reservations are required no later than July 7th. Northport Historical Society members are free; the cost for others is $10 per family.
